Post-Race Festivities
Come join us on June 30th to kick off your Independence Day! See old friends and make new ones. Runners and race walkers from all over the community are welcome to come out and participate in the Independence 5000. Whether you are a competitive runner, mid-pack runner, jogger or walker, everyone has a good time
Celebrate with your kids or running family in our FREE bounce houses, FREE face paintings and FREE hot dogs from the grill and other refreshments. Come to run, and stay for the fun!
AWARDSOverall Male & Female; Overall Master Male and Female; Runners 12 & Under; 13-15; 16-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 & Over; Race WalkersAwards are awarded three deep in each age group for the 5K Run/Walk. Participation ribbons will be given out to all 1K Fun Run participants.
